Select the plan that fits your life

Choosing the right medical plan takes careful planning. Before selecting a plan, take time to learn about the similarities and important differences among the choices Adobe offers, including how your prescriptions are covered. Find detailed plan comparisons in the 2025 medical plan chart [PDF].

All Adobe plans provide preventive care, including immunizations, at no cost. The table below highlights some key differences.

New! Aetna HealthSelect EPO

The Aetna HealthSelect exclusive provider organization (EPO) plan is an in-network-only plan. You must use providers in the Aetna Select Network (or Aetna Extended Network in Utah) for services to be covered.

Higher paycheck contributions, but lower costs for care

With the HealthSelect EPO, you pay more in contributions each pay period, but the plan features fixed copays for many services without having to meet a deductible first. Services that are subject to coinsurance have a lower deductible than the other Aetna plan options. The plan covers most in-network services at 90% after you meet your deductible.

See your health care rates and the 2025 medical plan chart [PDF].

Confirm that your providers participate

If this plan appeals to you, confirm that your doctors are part of the network by visiting the Adobe Aetna microsite or calling Aetna at 800-884-9565. If you’re currently enrolled in an Aetna plan, you should know that about 98% of providers in the Aetna Choice POS II network also participate in the Aetna Select Network (or Aetna Extended Network in Utah).

Health Care FSA (no HSA)

If you enroll in the Aetna HealthSelect EPO plan, you can elect to contribute to a Health Care Flexible Spending Account (FSA) for pretax savings on health care expenses, keeping in mind that funds must be fully used within the calendar year.

If you currently have a Health Savings Account (HSA) and enroll in the HealthSelect EPO, neither you nor Adobe can add funds to your HSA, although the account remains yours to use or invest.

Aetna HealthSave

The Aetna HealthSave plan covers most in-network services at 90% after you meet your deductible. It offers access to a large network of providers and the option to go out of network at a higher cost. See your health care rates and the 2025 medical plan chart [PDF].

This plan’s Health Savings Account (HSA) comes with an Adobe contribution, which you can use for health care expenses or save for the future. You must be HSA-eligible to enroll in this plan.

If you’re enrolled in Medicare or TRICARE, you can enroll in this plan, but without an HSA.

Aetna HealthSave Basic

The Aetna HealthSave Basic plan has the lowest paycheck contributions, but it has higher deductibles and the highest out-of-pocket maximums. See your health care rates and the 2025 medical plan chart [PDF].

The plan also pays for a smaller share of medical expenses—80% in-network after you meet your deductible—so when you get care, you’ll pay more.

If you’re eligible, you have the option to put money into a Health Savings Account (HSA) with no Adobe contribution.

Kaiser HMO (California and Washington)

If you live in the Kaiser Permanente service area in California or Washington, you can choose the Kaiser HMO plan, which offers convenient, high-quality care, all under one roof.

Your paycheck contributions are higher, but when you get care, you pay copays for most eligible services, and there is no deductible to meet. You must use Kaiser doctors, pharmacies, and facilities, and you may need specialist referrals from your primary care physician.

The payroll contributions for the Kaiser HMO are staying the same as 2024. See your health care rates and the 2025 medical plan chart [PDF].

If you enroll in the Kaiser HMO, you can elect to contribute to a Health Care Flexible Spending Account (FSA) for pretax savings on health care expenses, keeping in mind that funds must be fully used within the calendar year.

If you currently have a Health Savings Account (HSA) and enroll in the Kaiser HMO, neither you nor Adobe can add funds to your HSA, although the account remains yours to use or invest.

HMSA (Hawai‘i)

Hawai‘i employees can elect a bundled medical, dental, vision, and prescription plan through Hawai‘i Medical Service Association (HMSA). HMSA participants can contribute to a Health Care Flexible Spending Account (FSA) for pretax savings on health care expenses. Keep in mind that FSA funds must be fully used within the calendar year, and there is no Adobe contribution.

Contributions for the HMSA plan are increasing in 2025. See your health care rates.

Opt out of medical coverage

If you’re covered by another medical plan (e.g., through your spouse, domestic partner, or parent), you can opt out of Adobe’s medical coverage. Remember, dual coverage does not necessarily mean more coverage. If you plan to use an Adobe Aetna plan as secondary insurance, contact Aetna to better understand the coverage you’ll be eligible for.

Even if you decline medical coverage, you can still enroll in other benefits, including dental and vision. San Francisco and Hawai‘i residents who opt out will be asked to complete additional documentation.

Note that the credit for opting out of medical plan coverage will be discontinued for 2025.
