Choose your medical plan

Adobe offers a choice of medical plans, depending on where you live.

Aetna (all employees)

Aetna plans are compatible with a Health Savings Account (HSA) to provide you with rich medical coverage, while helping you save for your current and future health care needs.

You can select the Aetna HealthSave plan or Aetna HealthSave Basic plan. If you live outside the Aetna network, you can choose the Aetna Out of Area (OOA) HealthSave plan. Eligible Aetna HealthSave and OOA HealthSave participants receive an HSA contribution from Adobe.

If you’re enrolled in Medicare or TRICARE, you can enroll in the Aetna HealthSave or OOA HealthSave plan without a Health Savings Account (HSA). If you make this election, you won’t be eligible for the company HSA contribution, and you won’t be able to make individual HSA contributions.

Kaiser HMO (California and Washington)

If you live in the Kaiser Permanente service area in California or Washington, you can choose the Kaiser HMO plan, which offers convenient, high-quality care, all under one roof.

Kaiser HMO participants can contribute to a Health Care Flexible Spending Account (FSA) for pretax savings on health care expenses.

If you have access to another medical plan (e.g., through your spouse, domestic partner, or parent), you can opt out of Adobe’s medical coverage and receive $650 during the calendar year from Adobe ($25 per paycheck). San Francisco and Hawai‘i residents who opt out will be asked to complete additional documentation.

Health Savings Account (HSA) with higher contribution limits

In 2024, the maximum amount you can contribute to your HealthEquity HSA is increasing to $4,150 for individuals and $8,300 for families, per IRS guidelines. The catch-up contribution limit if you’re 55 or older remains $1,000.

Current elections roll over

If you contributed to the HSA in 2023, your per-paycheck election will roll over to 2024. However, lump-sum elections based on specific payroll dates will not roll over; you’ll need to reenter those in the Adobe benefits enrollment site.

Use it or grow it

You can use your HSA at any time for qualified medical expenses, or you can use it as a way to save for your future. There’s no use-it-or-lose-it rule, so your account balance continues to grow tax-free from year to year. And you can invest your funds once you reach a balance of $1,000.

Health Care Flexible Spending Account (FSA)

Current elections roll over

If you participate in a Health Care FSA in 2023, your election will roll over for 2024. However, it’s important to review your contributions to make sure they are in line with your current needs. The current maximum contribution is $3,050 and is expected to increase to $3,200 for 2024.

Use it or lose it

Remember to use the money in your FSA by the end of the calendar year, because you’ll forfeit what you don’t use. Be sure to submit claims for expenses incurred in 2023 before the May 31, 2024, deadline.

3

Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account (FSA) with an Adobe gift

Current elections roll over

If you participate in a Dependent Care FSA in 2023, your election will roll over for 2024. However, it’s important to review your contributions to make sure they are in line with your needs for 2024.

Confirm eligibility

Be sure to check that your dependents meet eligibility requirements. For example, your child must be under age 13 for care to be reimbursable. For more information on how to use the Dependent Care FSA, visit Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account (FSA).

Adobe gift contribution

Adobe will contribute $1,200 to your Dependent Care FSA. If you wish to receive the Adobe contribution and not add any funds of your own, you must enroll in the Dependent Care FSA and enter $0 for your contribution amount. If you would like to contribute your own funds to your account, don’t forget about Adobe’s contribution. For example, to reach a total contribution of $5,000, enter $3,800 for your contribution amount, and Adobe will add the remaining $1,200.

Use it or lose it

Remember to use the money in your FSA by the end of the calendar year, because you’ll forfeit what you don’t use. Be sure to submit claims for expenses incurred in 2023 before the May 31, 2024, deadline.

Life and accidental death and dismemberment (AD&D) insurance

Your Subtitle Goes Here

Your current supplemental life and AD&D insurance elections will automatically carry over for 2024. However, Open Enrollment is a good time to review your coverage and make any changes based on your current needs.

Do you have enough coverage for peace of mind?

If you’ve bought a house, had a change to your family, or just reevaluated your financial situation, consider the amount you’ll need to take care of your loved ones and any debt you’d be leaving behind.

During Open Enrollment, you can increase your supplemental life coverage by up to $150,000 with no evidence of insurability (EOI)—or more with EOI—and add to your accidental death and dismemberment (AD&D) coverage. You can also increase or decrease supplemental life insurance for your spouse or domestic partner and dependent children.

3

Legal assistance

When you sign up for the MetLife legal plan, you’ll have access to an online portal of attorneys for covered services, digital estate planning, and four hours of legal advice for uncovered matters.

Your 2023 election will automatically roll over to 2024. During Open Enrollment, you can add or change coverage for yourself or your parents.

3

401(k) retirement plan

Your Subtitle Goes Here
3

Although you can update your 401(k) contributions and investments anytime, Open Enrollment is a good time to refresh your retirement savings approach, if appropriate. You also can convert all or a portion of your pretax and traditional after-tax savings to Roth money within the 401(k) plan.

3

Deferred compensation plan (for director level and above)

Your Subtitle Goes Here
3

The deferred compensation plan (DCP) allows participants to put eligible compensation into a tax-deferred vehicle.

If your position is director level or above, and you would like to enroll, visit nolanlink.com during the December 4-15 enrollment period.

Even if you’re already enrolled in the DCP, you need to re-enroll; elections do not automatically roll over from year to year. While you’re on the site, review and update your beneficiaries.

For your convenience, when you log in to your Vanguard 401(k) account, you will also see your DCP balance.

Review your beneficiaries

Don’t forget to update your beneficiaries if you’ve had any life changes, such as marriage, divorce, birth, or adoption. You can do this at any time, but Open Enrollment is a convenient time to check whether any changes are needed.
